The Hummingbird Garden Kit provides a sampling of 5 different flowers that are known to attract hummingbirds and offer them nectar throughout the growing season, from May-Sept. It is a great add-on for a larger pollinator garden, or can be enjoyed as a smaller planting in a sunny corner.
In addition to attracting hummingbirds to your yard, these flowers will also be enjoyed by butterflies and native bees. Each of them are sun loving, but are fine in partial shade. They will do well in areas with average moisture in the soil. Consider pairing this kit with the Bird Friendly Native Garden Kit to attract even more birds!

Design Tips:
- Size of garden plot is generally 1 sq ft per plant, so approximately 10 sq feet. (Example: 10 plants = 2' x 5')
- Prepare your garden site (follow the link for details)
- A spot with full sun or partial shade and moderate soil moisture are ideal conditions for this grouping
- Group plants of the same species together more closely for a more filled in look
- Consider the height of each plant. Position taller plants at the back and shorter plants at the front.
