Fall 2023 Native Shrub and Tree List for Preordering
Fall is an ideal time to plant native plants, particularly shrubs and trees! Cool temperatures allow them time to establish roots in their new home before the next growing season.
Our Farmers Market Fall Plant Sale is tentatively scheduled for September 9 and 16. If you would like to order any native trees and shrubs, you must preorder by Monday, June 26, by emailing us your choices and quantities.
We source only Michigan native varieties of trees and shrubs.
- Typical size and price: shrubs = 1 Gal/$30; trees 7 Gal/$140 (price subject to change depending on final cost)
- Each plant below is linked to a description and photos from Wildflower.org to give you an idea of growing conditions, size, color and shape.
- An asterisk (*) means the plant is identified as particularly beneficial to pollinators as a larval host or providing other necessary services.
